Ryan Jeffries - Physiotherapist
Ryan graduated from the Masters of Physiotherapy program at UniSA in 2016, after completing his Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) in 2012. After graduating in 2012, Ryan moved to Canberra and undertook a traineeship in the Physiology department at the Australian Institute of Sport, where he worked with athletes from a wide variety of sports. Ryan stayed on for one more year and completed his honours degree working with the Basketball Australia High Performance Program, as well as working part time at the ACT Academy of Sport within the high-performance department.
Ryan has a background and passion in strength and conditioning, as well as power and
Olympic lifting. Ryan specialises in end-stage rehabilitation to get you back performing pain free and to your maximum potential. His previous experience working with elite level athletes has given him a great grasp of what is needed to return to sport at the highest level.
Ryan remains heavily involved with sport having worked at several SANFL and amateur
level clubs, and is currently providing physiotherapy services for Gaza football club. Ryan is
passionate about developing himself further as a physio and has undertaken additional
learning in the clinical management of running injuries and also sports related hip and groin pain. Additionally, Ryan has also completed his level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning certification and an Australian Weightlifting Federation Sports Power Level 1 accreditation.
